Smriti Irani on Sunday lashed out at the grand alliance, saying that women were feeling unsafe in
Bihar. She also alleged that people are being targeted for supporting rival parties.
Addressing election meetings at Ara and Koelwar, Irani highlighted the achievements of PM Narendra Modi and said the people of Bihar wanted development.

Nitish Kumar, Irani said, “The so-called ‘vikas purush’ has failed to improve infrastructure in Bihar that still lacks roads, electricity, proper healthcare, drinking water, irrigation and education facilities.”
“In Bihar, the poor can’t avail medical facility in government hospitals, children find it difficult to get quality education in government schools for lack of teachers while roads are in a dilapidated condition,” Irani said. She added that the farmers were suffering huge losses due to lack of irrigation facilities.
“If voted to power, the NDA government would ensure all-round development in the state,” she said. Irani also assured the people that 24X7 ambulance service would be made available in the state. “Like Jharkhand, the NDA government would also provide free gas connection to the poor in Bihar,” Irani said. She rued that youths from the state have to migrate to other places in search of job. “The NDA government create job opportunities in Bihar,” she said.
